Hi Kyra, I'm sorry I haven
't been on for awhile, we are waiting for our new modem to arrive since we are experiencing connectivity problems.
The passion flower was my mother's favorite and one of mine too. They grew easily in Milwaukee where she was raised because the soil contained sand since they were so close to Lake Michigan. When ever I see one it reminds me of my mom. They don't grow well in Nebraska since the soil has so much clay, they will survive the summer, but not the winter.
Well I hope your weather is nice to be outdoors today. We were near 90 degrees (too warm for Nebraska) last week, yesterday was mid 40s, wind and rain, and today should be low 70's and thunder showers. When our weather is that warm this early we fear tornados which my son survived last June at the Little Sioux Scout Ranch. He is there this weekend with his troop doing a service project for them. Next week he will be there again for training and the re-opening of the camp.

Hi, Kyra,

Thanks a lot for remembering. I'm fine and busy working on a full-length novel. It's keeping me so busy that I'm left with very little time to paint or visit Gather.

Just finished the last chapter... and now starts the final editing. Will be back soon.

Hi Kyra, I love the icon you have for the *My Yard & Garden* Group. My mother used to grow passion flowers, they are such a beautiful flower with a beautiful meaning.
